Images are often embedded (either purposely or
inadvertently) through the use of Microsoft Word. This happens
either when using Word to create the signature
HTML or when using Word to compose the email message itself. Microsoft Word converts embedded
images into compressed .JPG files, adding a great deal of "pixelation"
to the images. As a result, what may have begun as high-quality signature
graphic is displayed poorly when received. In many cases the
message sender (you) may not even be aware of this because you will be seeing
the original, high-quality, version of the graphic when composing your email
messages. The following two illustrations are close-ups of the same
signature graphic, shown without and then with, the use of Signature-Switch.
